Che giornata!
We spent Sunday morning at the Dante Alighieri Society in New Farm for our very first Story Time with the Authors — and it was everything we hoped it would be.
We read "My Brother is Hangry!" aloud to a room full of Italian families, and honestly — this is our favourite part of doing this. Getting to connect face to face with the community we made these books for in the first place doesn't happen often enough.
I bambini were lovely. They followed along, put their hands up with questions, and a few even had theories about what Rio's little brother would get hangry for next.

Abbiamo trascorso la domenica mattina alla Dante Alighieri Society di New Farm per il nostro primissimo Story Time with the Authors — ed è stato tutto ciò che speravamo.
Abbiamo letto ad alta voce «Mio fratello è Hangry!» a una sala piena di famiglie italiane, e a essere sinceri è la nostra parte preferita di questo lavoro. Poter incontrare di persona la comunità per cui abbiamo creato questi libri non capita mai abbastanza spesso.
I bambini sono stati adorabili. Hanno seguito la lettura, alzato la mano per fare domande, e alcuni avevano già le loro teorie su cosa avrebbe fatto arrabbiare il fratellino di Rio la prossima volta.
