Che giornata!
We spent Sunday morning at the Dante Alighieri Society in New Farm for our very first Story Time with the Authors — and it was everything we hoped it would be.
We read "My Brother is Hangry!" aloud to a room full of Italian families, and honestly — this is our favourite part of doing this. Getting to connect face to face with the community we made these books for in the first place doesn't happen often enough.
I bambini were lovely. They followed along, put their hands up with questions, and a few even had theories about what Rio's little brother would get hangry for next.
A huge grazie mille to the Dante Alighieri Society Brisbane for hosting us, and to Famiglie Downunder for organising the morning — from the planning to the morning tea, they pulled it all together beautifully.
